The metal-nonmetal transition in PbAr was studied via measurements of the resistivity. The behaviour was found to be similar to that of CuXe and GaXe as reported in an earlier work (ibid., vol.10, p.3559 (1977)); the transition is percolative in character. This result is very different from what was reported earlier for PbAr by other workers.
