The effect of the heating rate in the annealing process of rapidly quenched Fe 80.5 Cu 1.5 Si 4 B 14 and Fe 82 Cu 1 Nb 1 Si 4 B 12 amorphous alloys on their soft magnetic properties is investigated. The iron loss in magnetic flux density region of B > 1.55 T in Fe 80.5 Cu 1.5 Si 4 B 14 alloy decreases by high-heating-rate annealing (HA). The coercivity H c and the saturation magnetic flux density B s in HA specimen of Fe 82 Cu 1 Nb 1 Si 4 B 12 alloy were about 3 A/m and 1.78 T. By applying HA to high-Fe-concentration amorphous alloys such as Fe 82 Cu 1 Nb 1 Si 4 B 12 , Fe 82 Cu 1 Nb 1 Si 2 B 12 P 2 , and Fe 80.8 Cu 1.2 Si 5 B 11 P 2 , the nanocrystalline alloys with a high B s of more than 1.75 T and a low H c of about 3 A/m are obtained.
