Hybrid nanostructure Ag−Zn 0.9 Co 0.1 O was prepared via a solution chemistry method. Part of the electrons from the Ag tip was introduced and accumulated in Zn 0.9 Co 0.1 O nanorods, shifting the Fermi level to induce a robust room-temperature ferromagnetism.
