A method is described involving the use of Adsorbosil-5 silica gel as a stationary phase for aflatoxin purification. This method is especially advantageous for obtaining large quantities of aflatoxins B1 and G1 in a single chromatographic step. The distribution of individual aflatoxins in the different fractions obtained from chromatography on an Adsorbosil column is illustrated.
