Subram. and Jain, D. dematioidea (Bub. and Wrob.) Subram. and Jain, D. siccans (Drechs.) Shoem., D. sorokiniana (Sacc.) Subram. and Jain, D, teres (Sacc.) Shoem., and D. japonica (Ito and Kurib.) Shoem. on barley seed; D. avenae (Eidam) Scharif and D. sorokiniana on oat seed; and D. avenae , D. dictyoides (Drechs.) Shoem., D. sorokiniana , D. tritici‐repentis (Died) Shoem., D. verticillata (O'Gara) Shoem., and another Drechslera species on wheat seed. D. teres on barley, D. avenae on oats, and D. sorokiniana on barley and oats have been established previously as pathogens of cereals in New Zealand.
