The aim of this brief report is to study the formation of sheath in a multicomponent plasma. The plasma consists of electrons, positively charged ions, negatively charged massive ions, and beam electrons. It is assumed that the beam electron is ejected from the surface toward the plasma. The sheath edge potential and the floating potential are calculated. Applications of the findings are highlighted.
