The asymmetry parameter and the nuclear magnetic moment of Ne/sup 19/ were determined to be -0.057 surface proces 0.005 and -1.886 surface proces 0.001 nm, respectively, by observing the reversal of beta-decay asymmetry that occurs when poiarized Ne/sup 19/ nuclei undergo resonance reorientation. The procedure and assumptions used are discussed. (D.C.W.)
