The CNTs@Fe@SiO 2 ternary core-structure was prepared by a simple two-step approach consisting a pyrolysis process and then decomposition. At a thin thickness of 1.5 mm, the optimal reflection loss value of the ternary composite is as high as −14.2 dB.
