The heterogenic and resistive traits of organic and inorganic materials discharged from textile and mining industries impose a severe threat to the environment. The extensive present review was proposed to give detailed information about the exclusive bacterial consortiums that produce substantial organic acids and enzymes. These value-added products from bacterial sources possess a great interest in the removal of organic and inorganic pollutants from the environment. Around 10 5 tonnes of waste sludge from various sources have been generated worldwide. We have discussed the recent extraction methodology of bacterial strains from those waste effluents that produce numerous valorised products to be used for various industrial applications. The bacterial isolates produce many valuable products such as antioxidants, bioflocculants, biopesticides and expensive food additive products. In this review, we have summarized the valorised products from the bacterial isolate that are used for bioremediation purposes and are prone to be keenly concentrated by many environmentalists. The beneficial effect of bacterial enzymes in the treatment of trace metals prevents the generation of secondary pollutants and it could be one of the promising alternate biosorbents in treating the waste effluents. • Bacteria and their value added products isolated from various industrial effluents. • Consumption of bacterial enzymes in the process industries and antioxidant production. • Bacteria and their immobilized form targeted in the single and multi metal removal process.
