Coordination of electron pair donors at the titanium atom leads to stabilization of imidotitanium complexes, which are of interest as catalysts for C‐H activations and polymerizations. Thus, reaction of the thiophosphinic acid amide 1 with TiCl4 and subsequent treatment of the initial product with pyridine enables the synthesis of the orange‐red, crystalline title compound 2. The titanium atom exhibits distorted octahedral coordination; the length of the Ti‐N bond is 172.0(2) pm. equation image
