Rapeseed meal (RSM) of low glucosinolate cultivars Tower and Candle and high glucosinolate cultivar Midas were fed at 0, 75, 150, 225, and 300 g/kg of diet to medium white turkeys from 6 to 56 days. The mean live weights of the poults fed RSM diets did not differ from those fed the control (wheat-soybean meal-fishmeal) diet. Midas RSM produced significantly lower weights and feed efficiencies than Tower or Candle. Midas RSM caused greater thyroid enlargement than Tower or Candle. Supplementary lysine did not influence performance.
