Natural rubber (NR) fromHevea brasiliensisis is an important industrial raw material. NR possesses excellent mechanicalproperties, such as high tensile and tear strength, high crack growth resistance, good elasticity, and minimal heat buildup, due to its unique hierarchical structures. This mini-review encompasses the most recent developments in the field of characterization of molecular structure of NR.
