The author's recent trips to Mexico and Peru in chartered flights offered an opportunity to examine the relative frequencies and characteristics of this problem among large groups of vacationers.On 16 April 1977 a chartered plane carrying 162 vacationers from the New England area arrived at Acapulco, Mexico.
