The occurrence of carcinoma in individuals between the ages of 15 and 30 years has been positively established by observations within the last two decades. I shall not speak of congenital carcinoma or that occurring in early childhood. The statistics of Bürger founded on 15,134 autopsies, give 39 cases (25 per cent.) of carcinoma in persons between the ages of 15 and 30 years. None under 15 years are given. De la Camp, in 9,926 cases of carcinoma, found that the patients in 19 or 0.18 per cent. were under 20 years of age. Lubarsch, in 563 cases, found 4 patients between the ages of 14 and 19; 5 between 20 and 25 years and 3 between 26 and 29.
