The American Water Resources Association has as one of its objectives the provision of a common meeting ground for professionals in all disciplines concerned with water resources. Its meetings and publications provide a forum for engineers and physical, biological, and social scientists in their efforts to advance water resources research, planning, development, management, and education. The Association also has an aim the promotion of the rational and objective development and utilization of water resources.
