Dielectric hysteresis loops and the field dependence of the real part of dielectric permittivity in Rb2ZnCl4 are investigated at low frequencies (i.e. about 0.01 Hz). When the crystal is heated out of the commensurable C- into the incommensurable IC-phase, it shows triple hysteresis loops, whereas on cooling only double loops are observed in the same temperature range. Double and triple loops exhibit a characteristic memory effect.
