HF is an essential medium in the uranium conversion process, This study addresses the safety hazards caused by the strong corrosiveness of Hydrogen fluoride (HF) in the uranium conversion system's transportation pipelines, proposing a non-invasive corrosion status monitoring method based on Fiber Grating Sensor (FBG). The research simulates the corrosion process of HF on 201 stainless steel pipelines through electrochemical accelerated corrosion experiments, collects strain signals in real-time during the corrosion process, and establishes a linear relationship model between strain values and Relative Corrosion Depth(RCD) in conjunction with ultrasonic thickness measurement data. The experimental results show that the strain response in the middle region of the pipeline is the most significant, effectively reflecting the corrosion depth. By using the established linear relationship model to predict RCD, the prediction error is below 10 %, indicating the accuracy and feasibility of this method. The research findings provide theoretical guidance for monitoring the corrosion depth and predicting the service life of HF transportation pipelines in the uranium conversion system.
