Summary. Injections of l-vasopressin enhanced the ovulatory response of immature rats to PMSG. This type of ovulation occurred in two phases during the second and third periods of darkness following priming with PMSG. The number of ova collected at the end of each period was increased by l-vasopressin injected either at 28 or at 51 hr, respectively, after the priming. This effect of vasopressin was demonstrated only in rats which were at least 26 days old.
