Apsidal-motion constants for the polytropic family of models have been integrated with the aid of the Manchester University Electronic Computer Mk II for polytropic indices |$n=1(0.5)3.0(0.25)4.75$| and jth harmonic distortion, j = 2(1)7. In order to do so, Clairaut's and Emden's equations have been integrated simultaneously, with an accuracy of seven decimal places. The results of this work are summarized, and compared with less accurate computations of previous investigations.
