Summary In a survey of aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, G2 and ochratoxin A in 209 ungraded and graded samples from the 1989 Saudi Arabian wheat crop, only one sample was found to contain ochratoxin (1.8 μg Kg‐1) and a trace of aflatoxin.
