The 13C‐NMR. spectra of a series of complexes of type [PtCl2(PR3)2] and [PtCl4(PR3)2] have been measured. The values 2J(Pt, C) are shown to reflect changes in the metal hydridization while the values [3J(PA, C) + 5J(PB, C)] are found to vary only slightly. It is suggested that the phosphorus hybridization in these complexes varies only slightly.
