The Reaction of Isocyanates with Carboxylic Acids and Thiocarboxylic Acids

Abstract

Thiocarboxylic acids reacted with isocyanates or acyl isocyanates to give the stable addition products. However, similar products obtained from benzoic acid and acyl isocyanates dissociated into their components in solution.
