Homeopathic solutions display no microstructural differences from placebo on ultrasonic measurement.
Ultrasonic velocity and absorption measurements show no microstructural differences between homeopathic solutions and normal water.
No microstructural differences found in homeopathic solutions; leaves open any clinical effects and requires prospective human trials before consideration.
Ultrasonic velocity and absorption measurements have been performed in homœopathic solutions and in corresponding placebo solutions. The possibility of microstructural differences between ‘normal water’ and ‘homœopathic’ water solutions was investigated by propagation of ultrasonic waves in diluted water-ethanol mixtures. Our spectroscopic results do not display any difference between the two liquid systems.

Silvio et al. (1990) studied this question. Homœopathic solutions vs. Placebo solutions was evaluated on Microstructural differences (ultrasonic velocity and absorption). Ultrasonic velocity and absorption measurements did not display any microstructural differences between homœopathic solutions and placebo solutions.
