Geometrical Effects on the Near-Field Flow Structure of Coaxial Jets

This study focuses on the effects of the geometry of the coaxial injectors on the near-field flow structure. The dependence of the flow structure on the annular gap e = (D 2 - D 1 )/2 is considered. The effect of the exit velocity profile is discussed. The consequences of a retraction of the inner tube on the coaxial jet flow dynamics is investigated too
