Surgical extirpation successfully treats three cases of extremity aneurysms simulating soft tissue tumors.
Case Report (n=3)
Aneurysms of the extremities can present as non-pulsatile masses mimicking soft tissue tumors, highlighting the need to include them in the differential diagnosis of extremity masses.
The aneurysm of the extremities is rare. We treated three cases of aneurysm of the extremities. Two cases were diagnosed as true aneurysm and the other case as pseudo-aneurysm. The tumorous masses were non-pulsatile and we did not hear the vascular murmur in these masses. Angiogram showed no pooling image, and they were not dixghosed as soft tissue tumor by the needle biopsy and the open biopsy. The extirpations were performed. Pathological diagnoses were aneurysm, Wehn we fnd the mass of the extremities, should never forget aneurysm as a differential diagnosis.

Takehana et al. (1989) conducted a case report in Aneurysm of extremities (n=3). Surgical extirpation was evaluated on Pathological diagnosis and clinical resolution. Three cases of extremity aneurysms presenting as non-pulsatile masses simulating soft tissue tumors were successfully treated with surgical extirpation.
