Chlorosulfonated polyethylene was fractionated and the different fractions in toluene were characterized by viscosity and light-scattering measurements. Values of v and K in the Mark-Houwink relation were determined. The results indicate a tightly coiled structure for the polymer in the solvent studied. Integral and differential molecular weight distributions, the second virial coefficient, and the radius of gyration are also reported.
