The viscosity coefficients of gaseous mixtures of sulfur hexafluoride and carbon tetrafluoride have been measured in the temperature range 300°—350°K. These experimental results are discussed in terms of the kinetic theory expression for mixture viscosities (using the empirical combining rules for the potential parameters), and the Sutherland—Wassiljewa equation. Diffusion coefficients for the mixtures have been determined from the mixture viscosities using the procedure of Weissman and Mason.
