THE frequent occurrence of hearing defects in patients with chronic renal insufficiency1 2 3 4 5 6 prompted us to investigate the influence of a successful renal transplantation on hearing.Cases and MethodsThe study involved 10 patients (seven men and three women, with an average age of 41.4 years) from the chronic-dialysis and transplantation programs.
