We report dynamic measurements of the shear modulus {μ} of a two-dimensional bond percolation lattice model made by exciting torsional oscillations of cylindrical screens of (3--5)×{}10³ bonds. Critical variables such as the correlation length and the susceptibility, calculated from cluster statistics, were used to determine a scaling regime for {μ}, bounded by a mean-field region and by finite size corrections. Our results confirm the prediction of a new universality class for elasticity percolation with a shear modulus critical exponent {τ}=3.6±{}0.2.
