Vanadium‐Bromoperoxidase‐Mimicking Systems: Direct Evidence of a Hypobromite‐Like Vanadium Intermediate

Here we report a direct observation, by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, of the intermediate [VO(OH2)(OH)(OBr)]+, which may be involved in the catalytic cycle of the V‐HalPO enzymes.
