We read with great interest the recent article “Reconstruction of the Medial Patellofemoral Ligament Using the Adductor Magnus Tendon: An Anatomic Study” by Jacobi et al.1 The article described, with a cadaveric model, how the medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL) can be reconstructed using the adductor magnus tendon. The aim of the article was to identify possible risks related to adductor magnus tendon harvesting. The authors cited 3 clinical studies in which adductor magnus tendon has been used for MPFL reconstruction.
