Ideal prerequisites for the investigation of intramolecular Si(Sn,Pb)N interactions are provided by the aminoborates 2, M Si, Sn, Pb, which are accessible from the (E)-alkenylboranes 1 by reaction with NaNH2 and KNH2. In coordinating solvents or in the presence of crown ethers M′ can be separated from the anion, and the free NH2 group then attacks at the Si, Sn or Pb atom with formation of a five-membered ring species, as has been confirmed by NMR findings.
