Experiments have been carried out in order to investigate a possible dependence of the film transfer in liquid helium II on the geometrical conditions of the measuring arrangement or on a temperature gradient along the film. Using transfer vessels of different shape, no variation in the rate of transfer could be detected. Equally no change from the ordinary rate of flow could be found under temperature differences up to 3.5×10 -2 deg.
