Scores on a test of color blindness and intelligence test scores were correlated with semester grades in biology for eighty-one rural high school students. No relationship was found between color blindness and intelligence, however a significant negative correlation was found between color blindness and success in high school biology. This was taken to mean that students suffering a disability in color perception would have greater difficulty in achieving success in biology than would students not so handicapped.
