This brief is concerned with |H∞| filtering problem for singularly perturbed systems (SPSs) with variable sampling and probabilistic missing measurements. The signal received from sensor is sampled by a sampler with variable sampling periods before it is employed by the designed filter. By using an input delay approach, the |H∞| filtering problem is reduced to the |H∞| filter design for SPSs with bounded time delays. Moreover, the measure missing problem is considered, and the missing probability for each sensor is governed by an individual random variable satisfying a certain probabilistic distribution in the interval [0 1]. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the admissible filter are derived in terms of |ε|-independent linear matrix inequalities, which ensure the asymptotic stability as well as a prescribed |H∞| performance for the filtering error dynamics. A simulation example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of proposed filtering scheme.
