Dangers of working with anisole in falling drop grain-size analysis

Abstract

Anisole fumes are toxic. Prolonged inhalation may lead to poisoning. The falling drop apparatus using anisole must be operated under a fume hood. Extreme caution is recommended in any use of this compound.
