We report here new measurements, by static methods, of the compressibility of 15 minerals to 45 kb. Data have been reported by P. W. Bridgman on a number of these minerals, but data on nine of them are reported here for the first time. Abnormally high compressibility, presumably owing to voids in the minerals, was found at low pressures. It is difficult to make corrections for this effect; therefore the accuracy of the data is not high.
