Technical analysis identifies performance limitations of diamond cutting wheels on disaster debris, highlighting requirements for multi-material rescue tools.
The analysis of debris formed in emergency zones and their composition is presented. The most widespread rescue tool (diamond cutting wheel) used by rescue services in the process of victim unblocking is determined. The basic problems, whose solutions will allow for creating an abrasive cutting wheel that effectively cuts various materials, including combinations formed in the zones of destruction of building structures, are established.
