Molecular dynamics calculations have been done for a low density (0.20), high temperature (9.49) state of a one dimensional repulsive Lennard-Jones fluid. The normalized velocity autocorrelation function was shown to decay as -t−2.89±0.06, in reasonable agreement with the theoretical power law of -t−3.00. (AIP)
