MSRs are promising concepts of Generation IV. One of the challenges is the corrosion of construction materials. In this paper, corrosion tests of seven construction materials in molten NaF-NaBF4 at 550 °C or 700 °C with exposure of 720 h or 2160 h are presented. The molybdenum-nickel-based superalloys MoNiCr and HN80MTY achieved the best corrosion-resistance performance among the tested construction materials. Moreover, an increase in temperature led to a significant increase in corrosion mass losses per surface area; whereas, an increase in the duration of the exposure led to only a slight increase in corrosion mass losses per surface area.
