CLINICAL EDUCATION IN PERSPECTIVE is the result of research work undertaken by Lyn Martin for a doctoral thesis in the mid 1970s. The author considers the issues of role and status with regard to clinical teachers in nurse education. In doing so, she divides the book into two distinct parts. The first half incorporates background to the research, while the latter half is an exposition of the research itself.
