New bisepoxy unsymmetrical cycloaliphatic derivatives have been synthesized. The different reactivity of both oxirane rings (cycloaliphatic and glycidylic) has been tested against carboxylic acids giving rise to normal and abnormal opening to the glycidyl group. Homopolymerization reaction was also observed. Polymer structures were identified by 13C‐NMR spectroscopy. Thermal analysis carried out allowed to confirm their good thermal properties.
