A theoretical study is made of the cyclotron resonance in metals in an inclined magnetic field caused by the existence of the periodical system of high‐frequency current peaks. Weakly damped electromagnetic waves with a discrete spectrum are found near the resonant frequencies. The excitation of waves with a discrete spectrum leads to the fine structure of the cyclotron resonance line.
