The aim of this paper is to present some recent results on modelling in accelerated life testing with time-varying stresses, or according to the terminology of Singpurwalla [41], with dynamic environments. We consider also the class of degradation threshold-shock-models in which failure is due to the competing causes of degradation and traumatic event occurrence.
