To analyze the mechanisms of carrier transport in spray-deposited SnO2/SiO2/n-Si solar cells, the dark current-voltage characteristics and the short-circuit photocurrent (J sc)-open-circuit voltage (V oc) characteristics were measured by varying the illumination on the solar cell. This investigation of the J sc-V oc characteristics provides useful information for understanding the relation between the photovoltaic properties and the carrier transport mechanisms.
