A description is given of syntheses of 5‐amino, 6‐amino and 5‐bromo derivatives of 4‐methyl‐, 4‐t‐butyl‐ and 4‐phenyl‐pyrimidine, using 6‐hydroxy‐4‐methyl‐, 4‐t‐butyl‐6‐hydroxy‐ and 6‐hydroxy‐4‐phenyl‐pyrimidine as starting substances.
