Interconnected systems, where the subsystems are interconnected by some dynamic interaction system, are considered. It is shown that this type of system can be stabilized by decentralized dynamic output feedback, if the subsystems are stabilizable by (centralized) dynamic output feedback and the interaction system is stable. The relation to previous results is discussed.
