A transfer method of fatty acid monolayer at a very low surface pressure on the water surface was developed. The electron microscopic studies revealed that the horizontal drawing-up method could transfer the monolayer onto a hydrophilic SiO substrate without any change of the crystal structure of monolayer on the water surface, even at zero surface pressure.
