Dications of Molybdenocene(VI) and Tungstenocene(VI) Dichlorides Two novel metallocene dichloride salts [Cp2MCl2]2+[AsF6] (Cp = η5‐C5H5; M Mo, 2a; W, 2b) were synthesized quantitatively by oxidation of the neutral metallocene(IV) dichlorides with AsF5. The structure of 2a was determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction.
