Titanium alloy is widely used in many fields. Since it is a difficult-to-cut material, electrochemical machining (ECM) is suitable for its shape generation. However, the machined surface becomes uneven and the machining amount decreases along the scanning direction in the scanning ECM by using an electrolyte suction tool. In this study, in order to find out the reason for uneven surface and decreasing machining amount, the relationship between machining characteristics and the applied voltage was investigated and the influence of current density was discussed.
